Why Evangeline in Bloom? You might ask. Well
it stems from a quote I came across when searching for a journal one day and
found one with a quote by Anis Nin “And the day came when the risk to remain
tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom” this message
really spoke to me. When I’m really feeling down about something I think about
this quote and try to discover what I can do to blossom. That is basically what
is blog is all about, me finding what it takes to blossom.
I have a plethora of topics as I can never seem to
sit still and I’m constantly looking for something to do. I can never seem to
relax just by watching television; I have to do mindless tasks like weeding the
garden to really feel Zen.
My newest project stems from a hobby of my fiancés
which is working on old cars. I am always helping him in the garage working on
one of his cars. So a couple weeks ago I took the plunge and bought a 1975 VW
Bus that I will be converting to a camper, it doesn’t even run. This is
entirely my project and all on me and no help but maybe some guidance from time
to time. My fiancé handed me the user manuals and assured me I can handle it. I
know the very basics of car maintenance a very little beyond so this could
prove to be an interesting experience.
In addition due to my upcoming wedding in June I
have become a fitness nut. I’m finally cleaning up my eating and workout out on
a regular basis and I am confident I’ll have a six pack by next June! – that is
if I can drop 60 lbs and give up sugar and sweets; as that is the only way to
get a six pack - by clean eating and that is my biggest challenge! (Even if I
don’t have a 6 pack I’ll be happy to just drop the 60 pounds). I have found
over the years that it can be a real challenge to lose weight but not to give
up. I had to really search for something that would work for me that I could
stick to long term. It’s become a passion of mine to help others find what
works for them too. If you’d like to know how I can help read my fitness and
health blogs (coming soon) or feel free to just ask.
I am pretty much all over the place I love working
with my hands in any way from working on cars to gardening to beading. My topic
list grows daily. I just love to learn new things. Your feedback is welcome if
there is anything you’d like to see or think I need to improve, feel free to
let me know!

Nice to see you have a blog!
